Brenda Abelgore

Hello, my Name is Brenda Abelgore.....

The city of Fulton is important to me. I grew up here, I married my husband, and we raised three children here in Fulton.  And YES we all attended Fulton schools, participated in extra-curricular clubs, played sports and proudly graduated from the FCSD.

I currently work in a neighboring district,  but previously worked right here in our district for 14 years.

I have been on the Fulton Board of Education for 9 years and am running for my 4th term. Along the way I have been on various committees, lobbied for more funding at our state level, advocated for  student voice and brought that voice to our board table. I also have pushed for more saftey in our schools, more supports for our teachers, and I support the many programs and opportunities we have for our students in Fulton.

Some of my hobbies are running, co-teaching Faith formation at my church and spending time with my grandkids.

I hope to have the Fulton communities continued support as I again run for a seat at the BOE.

I may not always do it perfectly but I do throw my heart into everything I do here. I guess you can say I truly do "Bleed Red & Green!"
