Dear Fulton Families,

We want to make you aware that earlier today there was a reported threat of a possible shooting involving the Junior High School. As soon as this information was brought forward, the district immediately contacted the Fulton Police Department. Law enforcement responded quickly, conducted a thorough investigation, and determined that there is no credible threat to our schools.  Please see the attached memo from the Fulton Police Department outlining this morning’s threat and other reported threats that were deemed as not being credible.  

Based on their guidance, all buildings have been cleared to continue the school day and after-school activities as scheduled. Out of an abundance of caution, we will maintain heightened awareness and continue to follow all safety procedures throughout the day.

We understand that news of situations like this can be unsettling. Please know that the safety and well-being of our students and staff will always be our highest priority. We are committed to communicating openly and promptly with our families, and we will continue to keep you informed as needed.
