Gratitude

Hello Fairgrieve Families

Thank you for your continued partnership as we conclude the first quarter of the school year.

Our teachers have been diligently reviewing benchmark data and end-of-quarter assessments to provide effective small group instruction. We have dedicated time in our schedule for both Math and ELA to meet students at their individual levels, offering differentiated instruction that either addresses learning gaps or enriches successful learners.

Students have also engaged with this data, reflecting on their progress to set, monitor, and adjust their personal academic goals.

We are excited to share more about this important work and foster a strong learning community during our upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences this month. Please keep an eye out for sign-up information from your child's teacher. As always, do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions before then.

With Kind Regards,
Eric P. Koproski

Elementary Report Cards- Important Reminders!

  • Our elementary schools are going digital with report cards! Your child’s grades have always been available in SchoolTool and are released on the dates published in the school calendar (available in ParentSquare and on the website), but using ParentSquare we’ll also be sending a digital version securely to the parents/guardians who are registered in ParentSquare.
  • If you don’t have your SchoolTool account set up or need to update the information in your SchoolTool account, please call your child’s school to give them the most up to date email address and cell phone number. They’ll walk you through how to get signed into your SchoolTool account. They can also reset your SchoolTool password if you need it!
  • If you haven’t registered in ParentSquare, call your child’s school to make sure we have the most up to date email address and cell phone number for you. Once your school’s main office updates that information in SchoolTool, you’ll be able to register and login to ParentSquare about 24 hours later.
Report cards will be published in School Tool on Friday, November 7th.

A Note on Parent-Teacher Conferences

We strongly encourage every family to attend their scheduled conference. This is a vital chance to discuss your child's progress, celebrate their strengths, and set goals for the rest of the school year. Please contact your child’s teacher immediately if you need to schedule or reschedule. Most teachers have sent information using Parent Square.

Thank you for your continued partnership in your child's education. We wish you all a healthy and happy November!
Children smile and hug, with a sign that says 'We are grateful for...'.

Character Trait of the Month: GRATITUDE

Throughout November we will focus on what it looks and sounds like to embody the trait of Gratitude!

Students who are role models, are aware of the good things that happen to them and never take them for granted. Their friends and family members know that they are a grateful person because they always take the time to express thanks.

Goal Setting Progress

This year, we are continuing to build on our focus of goal setting. Each student will create both an attendance goal and an academic goal, along with the action steps they plan to take to reach them. Students will be sharing these goals with families in early October, so keep an eye out for that information!

Goal setting isn’t just for students. Our staff is also working on setting team and individual goals to guide our work throughout the year. Together, these efforts help create a culture of growth, accountability, and success for all..
