Fulton parents return to high school for a day

After several years, and for some, several decades, many Fulton parents returned to high school for a day.
The inaugural “Bring Your Parent to School” day at G. Ray Bodley High School proved to be a hit with the students, their peers and the parents, as they, too, hustled in the hallways in between classes, provided input to classroom lessons and immersed themselves into the high school culture.
“We’re confident you’ll learn something new about the school,” GRB Principal Donna Parkhurst said over the loud speaker.
That also was the overall goal of the day, she said, as GRB aims to increase communication to parents and show them how welcoming of a community GRB is.
