Nearly 200 Fulton City School District students received a starter pack of school supplies to kick-off the 2016-2017 school year, thanks to the annual Stuff-A-Bus campaign.
Families of students in kindergarten through 12th grade received notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers and other supplemental materials during the Aug. 26 distribution day at Fairgrieve Elementary.
Items were collected from residents throughout Oswego County and the Fulton Teachers’ Association. Members of the association were on hand to verify residency and hand-off Spiderman, Syracuse University, My Little Pony and other themed backpacks with school supplies. Superintendent Brian Pulvino also stopped by to meet families.
Stuff-A-Bus is held annually in conjunction with the United Way of Greater Oswego County.
