Fairgrieve Elementary School teachers recently recognized one student from each of their classrooms as exhibiting effort throughout the month of May.
Twenty-four students received the school’s Virtue of the Month award during a Morning Express program. Principal Jean Ciesla commended the honorees for working hard each day and never giving up on their academic and behavioral goals.
For their efforts, the recipients received a “brag tag” to add to their collection and much applause from classmates and guests.
The Fourth Grade Glee Club, directed by Hope Lawton, treated the student body to a performance about students learning anything they can if they want to put forth the effort.
