Stewart Award Presented

Recently Quirk's Players of G. Ray Bodley High School presented their 2016 annual musical, Rodgers & Hammerstein's Oklahoma!
At the Saturday evening performance, the 2016 Jacalyn Stewart Award For Achievement in Musical Theatre was presented.
Given in memory of former G. Ray Bodley High School Principal Jacalyn Vinciquerra-Stewart, the award recognizes two outstanding seniors who set high performance standards and who excel on stage in the annual musical.
Honored with the 2016 Stewart Award this year were GRB Seniors Brandon Webb and Erica Perwitz.   Perwitz appeared in Oklahoma! as Laurey Williams while Webb appeared as the dark farmhand Jud Fry.
Mrs. Stewart's mother Olga Vinciquerra is shown here presenting this year's award to Brandon Webb while Mrs. Stewart's son Glenn presents the other award to Erica Perwitz.
Also pictured in the back are Quirk's Players' directors Rob Lescarbeau, Tom Briggs and Thomas Nami.
