Dear FJHS Families-
My name is Chris Leece, and I am honored to be the principal at the Fulton Junior High School. At the
junior high, we take great pride in helping students move from elementary school to high school while
valuing respect, responsibility, and safety at all times. This year marks my 14th in the district, although
my first as a principal. I began my teaching career as a science teacher at the Fulton Junior High School,
before moving to work with the district’s alternative education program and serving as the science
department chairperson at G. Ray Bodley High School where I also taught Biology. I am excited to come
back to a school where I have so many wonderful memories.
The Fulton Junior High is a building where teachers, staff, and adminstration are dedicated to providing
the best educational experience possible for each child. We are truly a community that cares about the
needs of every student, and we do our best to work with families to meet those needs. We work
together with families to achieve the goals each student has set for themselves.
I am excited to begin the 2017-2018 school year and look forward to meeting our new students in the
fall. To our returning students, we will look to you to be role models, just like last year’s eighth grade
students were asked to be role models to you.
Please feel free to stop in and ask questions or just say hello! Our office phone number is (315) 593-5440.
You can also follow what is going on at school on our website and on Twitter (@fultonjrraiders).
See you in the fall!
