About Me

I am originally from Troy, NY, just outside of Albany. I graduated from Lansingburgh High School in 1997, and played soccer and basketball throughout high school. I attended SUNY Oswego and graduated in 2001 with a Bachelors degree in biology. In 2004 I completed my Masters degree in education and in 2012 I completed a C.A.S. in educational administration, both from SUNY Oswego.

I began my teaching career at Fowler High School in the Syracuse City School District. I then moved to Fulton and taught science at FJHS for eight years. I moved to GRB in 2013 to teach biology after one year as the coordinator of the FCSD Alternative Education Program.
