The Fulton City School District will have three (3) Board of Education openings as part of the upcoming May 15, 2018 Budget/Board Election.
One (1) seat is for a one-year term, July 2018 – June 2019. Two (2) seats are three year terms beginning in July 2018 and continuing through July 2021.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that petitions nominating candidates for the office of member of the Board of Education shall be filed with the Clerk of said School District at his/her office in the Administration Building, Education Center, Fulton, New York, no later than April 25, 2018, between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Vacancies on the Board of Education are not considered separate, specific offices; candidates run at large. Nominating petitions shall not describe any specific vacancy upon the Board for which the candidate is nominated; must be directed to the Clerk of the District; must be signed by at least 100 qualified voters of the District; must state the name and residence of each signer, and, must state the name and residence of the candidate. Such nominating petitions will be available at the office of the Superintendent of Schools, Education Center, Fulton, New York on March 5, 2018. The Clerk will conduct a draw for ballot order on April 26, 2017 at 9:30 AM to determine the order of listing of names of the candidates on the voting machines for said election.
