Several Fairgrieve Elementary School students were recently honored because they were observed by their classroom teachers as having been fair, truthful and sincere throughout the month of January.
The school’s Virtue of the Month award for honesty was given to one student from each classroom in grades kindergarten to six. For their efforts, students received a “brag tag” to add to their collection, and both applause and cheers from their peers, teachers and special guests.
Honest kindergartners include: Kace Brais, Amber Burlingham, Anthony McDermott and David Bennett-Powers, while honest first-graders are: Johnathan Bury, Leah Guernsey and Charles Merritt. Second-grade honorees are: Ava Corradino, Owen Clark and Anthony Johnson, while third-grade awardees include: Dominic Rellos, Darren Rockwell, Lucas Ketcham and Trinity Clark. Raymond Hager, Nicolas Rellos, Jeramian Santos and Elizabeth Woods are the fourth-grade honorees, followed by fifth-grade honorees: Hannah Arnold, Audri Fredenburg and Christopher Trapp. Honest sixth-graders are Madison Jones and Brogan Quirk.
