Students honored for leadership at Lanigan

Lanigan Elementary Principal Jeff Hendrickson said to exhibit leadership is to guide someone to do something new, even when they may have doubt.
That character trait is something that over 40 students at the school exemplified throughout the month of May. Those select students in grades kindergarten to six were recently honored during a recent role model assembly. Honored were the following students: Claire Banach, Jaxon Atwater, Teagan Ward, Kaleb Hofmann, Emma Ringland, Elijah Stoffard, Emma Seiter, Emma Jastrzab, Jackson Berry, Bailey LeVea, Owen Ouderkirk, Kenlee Farrands, Michael Best, Brooklynne Reed, Elizabeth Saba, Connor Fluent, Everleigh Nye, Elaina Gilles, Tucker Smith, Elliott Dumouchel, Makenna Fancett, Ava Stenson, Vita Galini, Corey Seymour and Aubrey Bush.
Also honored as leadership role models were: Hailey Becker, Dominic, Saudnerson, Rowan Backenstross, Chloe Recore, Halina Cole, Alexa Smith, Chace Shepard, Madeline Viscome, Cloie Everett, Olivia Hendrickson, Hagan Strong, Adrianna Bulla, Michael Holmes, Addison Smith, Aidan Greeney, Fenix Robinson, Robert Briggs and Bella Perkins.
One student from each classroom was also recognized because they achieved great strides with academic, social or behavioral goals. On-a-roll certificates were presented to students who remained committed to school attendance goals, displayed positive behavior, contributed in collaborative efforts, showed responsibility, prioritized work in the classroom and built upon reading fluency, among achievements.
On-a-roll students include: Gabby Mitchell, Skylar Wilcox, Alekzander Roberts, Hayden Ferraris, Kaiden Raymond, Max Scipione, Rileigh DeMott, Kaiya stupp, Logan Arnold, Skyler Perkins, Aaliyah Cox, Breena Hunnicutt, Maverick Bonnell, Shylee Holmes, Trinity Clark, Julius LaPointe, Aiden Hyde, Noah Sawyer-Phoenix, Devon Jenney-Kraus, Elias Saba, Richard Calkins, Cierstyn Osmun, Blake Bartosek and Benjamin Bennett.
