GRB seniors walk through FCSD buildings
The Fulton City School District’s longstanding tradition of high school seniors parading through the hallways of their former elementary schools brought smiles, tears and hugs from members of G. Ray Bodley High School’s Class of 2018.
Graduation walks were held at Volney, Fairgrieve, Lanigan and Granby elementary schools, as well as the Fulton Junior High School, as a way to show Fulton City School District’s younger students that they, too, are capable of graduating high school. The effort sought to inspire those students to do their best work in order to reach their FCSD educational goals and to become lifelong learners.
At each elementary building and FJHS, several teachers brought class photos of when they had the GRB seniors in years past. Added congratulatory remarks and extra hugs were given to the seniors following the walks through each of the building’s hallways.
