Volney Elementary honors tolerant students

Several Volney Elementary students were recently honored for showing tolerance toward others throughout the month of January.
Principal Todd Terpening said the celebration of students was one a way to commend them for a job well done in their classroom, special areas and hallways.  He told recipients they proved themselves to be role models to their peers, and he commended them for creating a better learning environment for others.
He then presented the following students with a “Principal’s Award:” Viviana Reynolds, Colt Ermini, Tessa Morey, Josselyn Buske, Myleena Mintonye, Reese Ives, Tristan Caruso, Kash Stuber, Caeli Bartlett, Declan Nickerson, Nathan LaBeef, Julian Graziano, Caleb Turner, Brianna Rothrock, Ava Ditton, Tristan Graham, Tyler Budd, Makenalyn Johnson and John LaPlante.
Also honored were students classroom teachers recognized as being “On-a-Roll” for working hard toward an academic or social goal. Certificates were presented to the following students: Derek Smith, Leah Parks, Carter Johnson, Mitchell Loughrey, Jason Scott, Dante Anthony, Brynn Graf, Ryder Congdon, Charles Rowlee, Domanick Fisher, Gracyn Cantine, Aden Lavallee, Aubree Taber, Kody Doran, Hayden Bogart, Gianna Tucker, Xavier Contois, Cerara Johnson, Nicholas Rusaw and Nathan Hutchinson.
