New staff members join FCSD


The Fulton City School District recently welcomed 25 new staff members who are eager for the 2017-2018 school year to begin.
 
During a recent two-day new staff orientation, the group was introduced to district and building administrators, with a focus on personnel, benefits, literacy and UPK, instructional coaching, technology and network administration, student support and instructional support. The new staff members also ate lunch with current Fulton Teachers Association members and participated in an FTA program to learn more how the organization will be a support to them throughout their FCSD career.
 
Superintendent Brian Pulvino encouraged the new employees to seek help from colleagues when needed and wished them a successful first year with the Fulton City School District.
 
FCSD is proud to welcome: Michelle Pawlenko, teaching assistant; Kelly Jordan, elementary teacher; MacKenzie GIldemeyer, elementary teacher; Megan Burns, elementary teacher; Amy Baker, art teacher; Kara Orr-Collins, special education teacher; Carrie Hodge, special education teacher; Jessica Clarke, elementary teacher; Nicole Cooper, elementary teacher; Jenna Earl, teaching assistant; Melissa Hughes, teaching assistant; Nicole Slocum, teaching assistant; Amanda Sherman, elementary teacher and Melissa Shortslef, special education teacher.
 
Also joining the Fulton team are: James Brooks, special education teacher; Mary Blocher, special education teacher; Leigh Bergman, music teacher; Kim Ruel, family consumer science teacher; Hannah VanDam, science teacher; Nikki Newidomy, English teacher; Mariah Wallace, special education teacher; Theresa Bugelholl, math teacher; Devon Morey, teaching assistant; Cameron Mills, teaching assistant; Lisa Vincent, teaching assistant and Bonnie Bell, teacher of the deaf.
