GRB financial aid night

The counseling office of G. Ray Bodley High School in the Fulton City School District will host its annual “Financial Aid Night” from 5 to 6 p.m. Sept. 27 in the auditorium at GRB, prior to open house.

Becoming acquainted with the various sources of financial assistance and understanding the processes and deadlines that will come with the application process will help families see a greater probability of receiving financial aid. Kathy Flaherty, a representative from the financial aid office at the State University of New York at Oswego will present information about the types and sources of financial aid available to undergraduate students. She will also make attendees aware of the federal and state forms needed to apply. Handouts will be provided so parents and guardians may review information at home.

High school juniors and seniors, along with their parents or guardians, are strongly encouraged to attend the financial aid night, but parents of students at any grade level are invited to attend.
