Kindergarten registration kicks-off next month


The Fulton City School District will offer kindergarten registration for the 2017-2018 school year for children who turn five years old by Dec. 1 during the upcoming Parent University event.
 
Parent University will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 1 at G. Ray Bodley High School.
 
Following the event, the district will officially roll out kindergarten registration on April 27 at all four elementary buildings (Volney, Fairgrieve, Granby and Lanigan) between the hours of 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
 
Beginning April 28, kindergarten registration will take place in the registration office, room 107, of the Fulton Education Center, 167 S. Fourth St., Fulton. Office hours are from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays from September to June, and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays to Fridays in July and August.
 
Please bring the following required information: an original birth certificate and proof of residency. Incoming kindergartners must have a physical completed by the time the 2017-2018 school year begins in September.
