Welcome to Our Bee Hive!!!
Our Mission: "We will create a safe and positive learning environment where all kids can learn".
Our Bee Promises:
- Be Respectful
- Be Responsible
- Be Safe
- Be a Problem Solver
Your child's education involved a great deal of teamwork. WE will need to work together to help your child get all they can out of their 3rd and 4th grade experiences.
Here are a few things you can do to help your child not only be successful, but engaged while fostering their love of learning.
- Encourage reading and read daily! You can read to them, they can read to you, or they can read independently!
- Practice math facts (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
We have a number of systems in place to assist your child in feeling great about their accomplishment as well to build self esteem.
Bucket Filling - As a class we work to fill one big bucket with pompoms. When staff notices students making positive choices or doing something kind or helpful for someone else, students put pompoms into the bucket. When our class bucket is filled, we will have a bucket filling party!
Praise - Staff in our program constantly praise and encourage students for positive academic and behavioral choices they make.
