Volney Elementary honors role model students


Several Volney Elementary School students were recently named by their teachers as classroom role models because they exhibited gratitude throughout the month of November.
 
Principal Todd Terpening presented each recipient with a special award during a school assembly where he commended the students for showing thanks and appreciation to their teachers and for setting great examples for their peers.
 
November classroom role models include: Caylin Maynard, Lucas LaBeef, Seth Smith, Devin Catalone, Brynn Graf, Lilyann Ermini, Carter Perras, Henry Jerred, Josie Smith, Zoey Fink, Collen Austin, Emma Hutchinson, Caleb Clark, Santina Cunningham, Haven Hicks, Emma Kerfien, Danielle Boyce, Layne Osborn, Caiden Taber, Iz Moxley and Elijah Turner.
 
Also recognized were students who achieved an academic or behavioral goal. For their efforts, the following students received an “On a Roll” award: Deven Smith, Laxton Gorman, Kailey Andrews, Braydn Scott, Ben Naioti, Colin Pullen, Braedon Prock, Kierra Fairbanks, CJ Rowlee, Olyvia Berry, Shane Thomas, Aiden Coulter, Madeline Ligoci, Brody Chace, Sara Belrad, Tyler Budd, Tyler Sherman, Jasmine Heywood, Chance Ponzo and Kameron Przychodzen.
 
Principal Terpening encouraged all Volney students to set and accomplish goals so they, too, may receive an award in December.
