Fairgrieve students show gratitude

Over 20 students Fairgrieve Elementary School students were honored during a recent Morning Express program because they exhibited the character education trait of gratitude throughout the month of November.
Principal Jean Sampsell said all recipients have shown they are grateful and thankful in their classroom. For their efforts, they received applause, praise and a “brag tag” to add to their collection.
As part of the monthly celebration, students, staff members and guests were treated to a performance of “We Give Thanks” by the Fourth Grade Glee Club. Director Hope Lawton said the message was about thanking people who make a difference in people’s lives.
