Long Columbus Day Weekend!
We are out of school Friday, October 7th, and again on Monday, October 10th. We will see you again on Tuesday, October 11th. Enjoy your long weekend!

Halloween Dance Will Be A Scream!
Our next school dance will be Friday, October 28. Come enjoy wall crawling, awkward slow dances and sweaty palms! Wear your costume and compete for prizes in the costume contest!

Holocaust survivor shares story with 6th graders: Fulton City School District sixth-graders recently learned an important message from guest speaker Marion Blumenthal Lazan: they are the last generation to hear first-hand accounts of the effects of the Holocaust.   A survivor of the horror herself, Lazan detailed events of her childhood from her happy family memories to living in horrendous conditions in concentration camps after the Nazis tortured people who were Jewish. Author Aaron Reynolds Wows Fairgrieve: Dude! Aaron Reynolds recently visited Fairgrieve Elementary School!   The children’s book author shared all about his writing process during a four-question, gameshow-style showdown with students and their teachers. GRB STEAM showcase lets students shine: G. FJHS students shine in inaugural talent show: Seventh- and eighth-grade students at the Fulton Junior High School showed off their comedic, acting, singing and musical talent abilities during the inaugural FJHS Talent Show.   Thirteen brave acts took center stage to entertain the crowd in the school cafeteria. Co-hosts and FJHS students Reagan LaPage and Noah Cordone infused humor into the event with jokes and puns in between each act. Fairgrieve students receive library tech award: Respectful and responsible Fairgrieve Elementary School students are honored for more than their positive classroom habits.   Librarian Barb Senecal recently presented two students from each classroom in grades kindergarten through three with the Library Technology Award for their excellent effort, attitudes and respect for others in both the library and computer lab.
